About Us...
St. Paul Lutheran Church is a congregation of 650 families, located on historic Doty Island in Neenah, Wisconsin. Our Mission is to gather joyfully, grow spiritually, and go faithfully, sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Our Core Values...
St. Paul Lutheran Church has identified eight core values that define who we are and the culture we wish to create. These values not only reflect what we actually do, they also reflect that to which we aspire.
Prayer - We engage in open dialog with God, as individuals and in community with others, to receive guidance, forgiveness, and blessing.
Evangelism - We proclaim God's saving gospel outside the walls of church.
Worship - We gather together to glorify God through preaching, praise, music, sacrament, and prayer.
Teaching - We strive to teach God's Word with integrity and authority so that seekers find Christ and believers mature in Him.
Stewardship - We act on our understanding that commitment to the church is evidenced by willingly sharing our time, talent, and treasure.
Social Ministry - We respond to human need, work for justice and peace, care for the sick and suffering, and participate responsibly in society.
Young Adults - We work to provide young adults with an open and inviting atmosphere that focuses on understanding and meeting their needs for spiritual growth and fulfillment.
Family/Youth Ministry - We seek to provide an atmosphere that strengthens marriages and families; we are committed to developing programs for families, children, and youth to help them grow in faith.
Our History...
St. Paul Lutheran Church, a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, was founded in 1912 as the first Lutheran church in Neenah to offer services in the English language! It has been conducting services at its present location since 1916. More...
Our Staff...
St. Paul Lutheran Church is blessed with a wonderful staff including Senior Pastor Paul Holte, Interim Associate Pastor Clarence Harms, Parish Nurse Judy Zich, Director of Music Marillyn Freeman, and Youth Ministries Coordinator Jill Beverlin. Other members of the staff include Sanctuary and Handbell Choir Director Eric Ihde, Coordinator of Sunday School and Volunteers Tamie O'Dell, Administrative Assistant Cindy Huxtable, Nursery Ministry Coordinator Liz Hardy, and Custodian Richard Tucker. Our Facilities...
Not only have we been blessed with a wonderful staff, we have been blessed with a wonderful facility as well. St. Paul Lutheran is a fully handicapped accessible building. Our sanctuary seats approximately 400 people and boasts a beautiful Dobson tracker pipe organ. The Fox Valley Community Table, a community sponsored program that feeds hungry people a lunch two times a week is also housed at the church. Take a virtual tour of our facilities!
