Opportunities for Men
We've begun a new group...the Men's Social
Fellowship. This group is open to all males - widowed, single, married,
divorced, veterans, young and old, and meets the third Tuesday of the month at
6:30 p.m. Through the Men's Social Fellowship Group, St. Paul promotes a
positive Christian community of men that provides fellowship through social
interaction and that fosters personal growth and respect.
We have several exciting opportunities coming
up in the next few months. Watch the
church
calendar
for upcoming events.
Opportunities for Women
Women play a
vital role in the life of our church. Many opportunities for women to
study, socialize, evangelize, and grow in their faith are provided at St. Paul
Lutheran. Some of these groups are
locally based while others have ties to state, national, and worldwide
organizations.
Stitch and Tie
Stitch and Tie is a quilting group
for women. Stitch and Tie members sew and tie quilts as well as collect school supplies and
health kits. Items are donated to Lutheran World Relief. Stitch and
Tie meets on the
second and fourth Mondays of the month from 9-11 a.m.
in
the St. Paul Fellowship Hall. To donate materials or for more information,
contact
Collette Beuther.
Women's Fellowship
Women's Fellowship is a group of women who meet to
celebrate, socialize, support one another, and grow in our Christian walk! We
meet quarterly, generally on a Saturday morning. There's always food (we're
Lutheran!), fun, and time for learning. Watch the church
calendar for upcoming Women's Fellowship events!

Steeple People
We are excited to
announce the formation of "Steeple People" at St. Paul Lutheran Church. "Steeple
People" had their first organizational meeting on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 and
have been going strong ever since!
Steeple People...
Is for people of all ages
and includes members of St. Paul Lutheran, as well as family, friends, and
neighbors!
Has an open attitude...we'll try anything
once!
Gathers once a
month, on the second Wednesday, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
"Does" potlucks with some sort of program to
follow. Bring your own place settings!
Conducts
a free will offering at each meeting to help offset expenses for beverages,
tableware, decorations, etc. The Health Ministry team keeps track of the
donations.
Follows the potluck with a program. The program length
is generally 35
minutes with a 10 minute question and answer time.
Occasionally
celebrates special occasions at a restaurant or has food catered in.
Celebrates those
having a birthday each month.
The Health Ministry
Team asks that all members of Steeple People help with program ideas as well as
with set up and clean up. At each gathering we announce
the upcoming month's date and program content, and recruit those who will help
with setup and cleanup, so that everyone takes turns.
Please see the
Calendar
for upcoming Steeple People gathering.
Companions in Sharing
Companions in
Sharing is just what the name says...we are fellow parishioners who come
together to share our lives, to talk, to support, to journey along with
life's ups and downs. We feel that we can learn from each other's
experiences and realize that we are not alone. Generally this group is quite
"light-hearted" and full of HUGS and prayer. Companions in Sharing is open
to both men and women. It's about
regular life stuff!! Companions in Sharing meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from
12:30 - 2:30 p.m. Please see the
Calendar for
upcoming Companions in Sharing meeting times.
